Wednesday Maintenance on Wednesday

The server will be down for maintenance for 24 hours while I incorporate a few core mods and re-do the website. It will be back up Thursday at 12:00 am EST.

Just an quick bit of news, the next update for Bordercraft should be up by the end of this week. I was out of town last weekend and I'll be overseas next week so it'll be tight, but it should be done.

Hope that clears some stuff up! :D

Anti-Lag! Use this before connecting to the server!

Download this to reduce all lag! MAC COMPATIBLE!

This application will allow you to download AND SAVE chunks of the world so you don't have to constantly request chunks of information from the server! This will automatically reduce your lag!!!

Directions:
It should look like the image above at the end. So just look at the picture and copy it exactly. The directions are always here for reference.

Download the jar file here.
Double click the jar file (or right click, open with, Java(TM) Platform SE Binary)
Under Remove Server in the Name box, type in mcserver1337.servegame.com
Under Remove Server in the Port box, type in 1440
Under Local Server in the Port box, type in 1440
Under the Max Size (MB) box, type in 256
Press Start!
Start Minecraft.
Click Multilayer (herp derp)
Type in localhost:1440
PLAY WITH NO LAG!!! :D

Minecraft 1.7 : Mode Aventure

Notch a annoncé il y a peu que Minecraft 1.7 intègrerait un Mode Aventure. Il n'en a pas dit plus pour le moment mais on est en droit de se poser des questions.

Alors j'en appelle à votre imagination : A quoi pourrait ressembler ce Mode Aventure ?

Sortie de Minecraft 1.6.6

Visiblement Notch était pressé de partir pour l'E3, du coup il s'est empressé de sortir Minecraft 1.6.6.

Voici la liste des changements :

* Nouvel usage de la poudre d’os (bonemeal)
* Dureté de la Glowstone identique à celle de la pierre. L'utilisation d'une Pioche est donc nécessaire pour récupérer les ressources.
* La glowstone drop en plus grande quantité.
* La recette pour crafter des blocs de laine et de Glowstone change : 2x2 contre 3×3 initialement.
* Retour des FPS illimités.
* Bug des Lits en multijoueurs corrigé.
* Bug sur les bateaux corrigé et diverses améliorations.
* Suppression d'Herobrine

Plus qu'à attendre Minecraft 1.7 :)

Minecraft 1.7 n'est pas prêt de sortir. En effet, Notch a annoncé sur son compte Twitter qu'une Beta 1.6.6 était prévue pour cette semaine mais que Minecraft 1.7 devrait prendre un peu de temps. Dur de trouver du temps libre entre l'E3 et les vacances d'été...

Minecraft 1.6 Update

Estou testando ainda... os mapas estao bem legais =)

Added Nether support to multiplayer
Added craftable maps
Added hatches
Added tall grass in some biomes
Mushrooms now spreads (very) slowly
Added server property view-distance. Sets the radius of terrain updates (in chunks) to send to the players. Range 3-15, default 10.

It’s no longer possible to build solid blocks on the top layer of the maps (sorry!)
Players stuck in walls will slide towards the nearest gap if there is one
Made booster tracks speedier
Severely nerfed fire so it spread slower, and doesn’t spread infinitely
Seeds are now found in tall grass, using a hoe on the ground no longer works
Blocks destroyed by other players in multiplayer now shows the breaking block particle effect
Activated dispensers make sounds and trigger particles in multiplayer
Doors make sound for other players in multiplayer
The record player now supports more than 15 different songs
Fixed running out of memory corrupting the current level

Podcast a 2 PO's

Je viens vous annoncer par le biais de cet article, un nouveau partenariat avec Podcast a 2 PO's !

Mais Podcast a 2 PO's, c'est quoi ?!

Et bien, c'est un des tout premiers podcast sur Minecraft ! Il est animé par Seraah (Fondateur de la chaîne YouTube Epic fail) et Grorum (Administrateur du serveur MineThink).

Mais vous vous demandez surement en quoi consiste le podcast ? Et bien, Podcast a 2 PO's, c'est des news, le classement des serveurs, et des superbes invités, plus ou moins connus ! Le tout avec une touche d'humour.

Ce qui est innovant, c'est la touche professionnelle qui est apportée aux podcasts, et l'originalité de chaque épisode !

Le but de Grorum et Seraah est de réunir toute la communauté, pour qu'il n'y ai plus de "guerres" entre serveurs, sites et YouTuber, et que l'on ne forme plus qu'un ! Ils veulent aussi donner leurs chances à des personnes moins connus lors des interviews, et en savoir plus sur des personnes ayant plus de renommée.

Chaque épisode sera publié sur le blog afin de ne rien raté du Podcast.

Minecraft 1.6

As most of you probably know, minecraft 1.6 comes out today. I just wan't to remind everyone. DO NOT UPDATE TO 1.6 until I post the announcement on the blog. I have to update the server before it will work with 1.6. It will take a few hours at most. Max, a day.
